Once upon a time in a land not too
far away, actually just north of Boston,
Laura Imhoff first picked up a guitar,
the guitar that her mother had left her
when she had moved on out. Laura
would merely just pluck at the strings while singing her angsty
teenage poetry. And really, that’s how it all started. While growing
up on a small farm with her father and brother, her Sunday mornings
were spent dancing around the kitchen singing Joni Mitchell
Crosby, Stills, and Nash at the top of her lungs. She is a regular at the Burren in Somerville and other
coffee shops in the area. The young singer/songwriter
has also toured across the states to the Kerrville Folk
Festival in Texas . Imhoff seduces people with her sexy,
sultry voice and honest lyrics; hooking them with her stories
of broken hearts, new loves, and other influences in her life.
